Fabrics & Design
What types of fabrics do you offer and how do I choose the right one?
You can choose from transparent, translucent and blackout fabrics. Sheer fabrics let light through and maintain a visual connection to the outside; light-filtering fabrics provide privacy with a pleasant diffusion of light; blackout fabrics ensure complete darkness - ideal for bedrooms, for example. You can browse all fabrics in our online swatch book.
You can explore all options in our practical guide on the blog.

Dimensions & Measuring
How do I measure correctly?
- Do okenního otvoru (do výklenku, špalety)
- Šířka: Změřte horní část otvoru a odečtěte 2 mm (u nerovnoběžných špalet 4 mm)
- Výška: Měřte od horní hrany otvoru po parapet a odečtěte 5 mm
- Tip: Rezerva zabrání narážení zátěžové lišty do parapetu
The measuring method depends on where you want to position the blind:
- Wall or ceiling installation (in front of the window):
- Width: fabric width + 40 mm (20 mm per side for brackets)
- Height: from mounting point to final bottom position
- Tip: add 30–60 mm overlap on each side for better shading
- Inside window recess:
- Width: measure top width and subtract 2 mm (or 4 mm for uneven walls)
- Height: measure opening height and subtract 5 mm
- Tip: ensures smooth operation without hitting the sill
What are the minimum and maximum size limits for ACCUBLIND blinds?
- Minimum width: 60 cm
- Maximum width: 300 cm
- Maximum height: 300 cm
Installation
Is installing ACCUBLIND battery-powered blinds complicated?
Not at all. Installation is quick and easy - no professional help needed. All you need is a level, a measuring tape, and 4 screws. No electrical work required.
Every order includes a detailed installation guide and all necessary mounting stuff.
Where can I install the blinds?
The blinds can be fitted anywhere with a sufficiently firm surface:
- On the wall or ceiling (in front of the window)
- Inside the window recess
What surfaces and materials are suitable for mounting?
The success of installation depends on the quality and type of surface. Here's what works best:
Suitable: concrete, brick, drywall (with anchors), wood
Less suitable: weak plaster, unsupported drywall
⚠️ For drywall, we recommend using appropriate anchors or mounting into metal profiles.
Can I connect multiple blinds together?
Yes - two blinds can be joined together as a single unit for wide windows or patio doors.
Are they suitable for rental apartments?
Absolutely. Thanks to the cable-free installation, our blinds are an ideal solution for rental properties and renovations - no electrical work or structural modifications required. When you move out, they can be easily uninstalled and taken with you.
Control & Features
How can I control the blinds?
Each blind includes a quiet battery motor and can be controlled via:
- Remote control (6-channel included)
- Mobile app
- Voice assistants (Siri, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant)
After your order is placed, we'll be in touch to discuss the optimal control setup for you.
Can I choose motor position?
The motor (USB-C charging) is on the left side by default.
If you need the motor on the right, please add a note to your order or contact us before confirmation.
Can ACCUBLIND blinds be connected to a smart home system?
Yes. Our blinds are compatible with the Matter protocol, which ensures compatibility with the majority of smart home systems (Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Siri, HomePod). You don't need to worry about your blinds becoming obsolete - Matter is an open standard backed by all the major technology companies.
With the app, your blinds are always under control. Operate them from your phone from anywhere, monitor battery levels and set custom schedules - including automatic wake-up with the morning sun or occupancy simulation for added security.
Can ACCUBLIND blinds be controlled via a mobile phone?
Yes - our motorised blinds can be controlled via a smartphone app. The app allows:
- Basic control
- Scheduling
- Group control
- Smart home integration
Do your fabric blinds support Loxone or Matter?
We currently do not recommend connecting our fabric blinds directly to the Loxone system.
Matter is a modern, open smart home communication standard that allows devices from different manufacturers to work together across platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
Loxone is currently working with an experimental Matter implementation available only in a beta test version of their software. This integration is still in development and is not yet considered fully stable or officially supported.
How do I set up and start using my ACCUBLIND smart blind?
Good news! Your ACCUBLIND blind is ready to use straight out of the box! The end positions are pre-set and the blind is already paired with the remote control, so you can start operating it right away.
To connect to the mobile app, you have two options:
- Via QR code (recommended) - scan the code directly from the motor and follow the in-app instructions
- Manually - press and hold the button on the motor until the LED starts flashing, then add the device in the app
👉 Want to change the settings? If you'd like to adjust the end positions or re-pair the remote control, follow the included guide here.
What advanced features does the app offer?
The app offers a range of handy features for maximum convenience:
- Setting upper and lower limits
- Saving favorite positions
- Pairing multiple remotes
- Changing motor direction
- Speed and step control for precise adjustment
👉 The complete guide to all features can be found here.
Maintenance & Service
How long does the battery last and how is the blind charged?
With typical use (twice daily), the battery lasts 4–6 months.
Charging via USB-C takes approximately 6 hours. The app will notify you when charging is needed.
How do I maintain the blinds?
Maintenance is very simple — just wipe regularly with a dry cloth or vacuum on a low setting. For more stubborn marks, use a lightly dampened cloth.
⚠️ Please note: the blinds are not suitable for washing or ironing.
What if the fabric gets damaged or I want to change the design?
If only the fabric is damaged or you'd like a new look, you don't need to replace the entire system. If the mechanism and motor are in good working order, only the fabric itself needs to be replaced.
We recommend sending the blind to us for servicing — we'll check the technical condition and ensure the new fabric fits perfectly. We keep all the relevant details on file under your order number.
What is the warranty of ACCUBLIND blinds?
All ACCUBLIND blinds come with a 2-year warranty covering motor, electronics, and mechanical parts.
